Facial Rejuvenation and Microneedling

Facial Rejuvenation

Acupuncture facial rejuvenation, also known as cosmetic acupuncture or facial acupuncture, is a treatment that involves inserting fine needles into specific points on the face and sometimes the body to promote circulation, stimulate collagen production, and improve skin tone. It’s often considered a natural alternative to more invasive procedures like Botox or fillers.

The treatment is believed to help with various skin concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, sagging, and overall skin vitality. It’s thought to work by increasing blood flow to the skin, encouraging the body’s healing mechanisms, and balancing energy (Qi) in the body.

Sessions typically last 30 to 60 minutes and may include additional treatments such as facial massage or herbal therapy. Some people report a “glow” or fresh look after the first treatment, but multiple sessions are usually recommended for lasting results.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skincare procedure that involves using a device with fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin’s natural healing process, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin, which helps improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity.

Microneedling is commonly used to treat:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scars
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Enlarged pores
  • Stretch marks
  • Uneven skin texture

The procedure typically involves a topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort, and it usually takes about 30-60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Afterward, the skin may appear slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn, and some people experience dryness or flaking as the skin heals.
